The Blackhawks and Red Wings resume their rivalry Saturday this time in the Motor City. The Hawks are 1-0-1 against Detroit this season. Last weekend the Hawks lost in overtime to the Red Wings.
In goal for the Hawks Saturday is Corey Crawford while Detroit will counter with Jimmy Howard.
The Red Wings domintated the first period against the Blackhawks, The Red Wings had 21 shots on goal compared to just four for the Blackhawks.
Detroit lit the lamp twice in the period. Tomas Holmstrom and Todd Bertuzzi each scored their seventh goal of the season. Pavel Datsyuk and Ian White assisted both goals.
Corey Crawford played great in goal for the Hawks making 19 saves.
