The Blackhawks announced today that their matchup with the Washington Capitals on Sunday, March 13, will be featured nationally on NBC. Thus, the game time has been changed to 11:30 a.m. CDT -- that's Central Daylight Time, as that is also the day that the clocks change forward to DST. The original game time was 2 p.m. CDT.
↵It's going to be the only meeting of the 2010-11 regular season between the Blackhawks and Capitals, and their first matchup since almost exactly a year earlier, March 14, 2010 at the United Center, a game that was also broadcast on NBC.
↵The Sunday, March 13 date will be Chicago’s third appearance on NBC this season; the other two were both losses, to the Flyers in a Stanley Cup Final rematch on Jan. 23, and to the Penguins on Feb. 20, which matched up the last two Stanley Cup winners. Let's hope for a better result on March 13.
