Your Sports TV Schedule, 2/18: NBA All-Star Weekend, Blackhawks/Blue Jackets

The NBA All-Star festivities get under way in Los Angeles tonight. That means seeing Ernie Johnson and the crew in front of a pile of gravel that looks like it's on fire, and watching Justin Bieber play basketball. No, really.

6 p.m., ESPN: NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. As mentioned, Justin Bieber plays. So do Bill Simmons, Jimmy Kimmel, Common and Jason Alexander. Some retired NBA stars lace on the sneakers again and likely wind up with knee injuries: Scottie Pippen, B.J. Armstrong, Magic Johnson, Bill Walton, Jalen Rose, A.C. Green and Chris Mullin. Seriously, if you watch this game, you risk having your sports TV viewing credentials revoked.

↵↵

7 p.m., Comcast 100: AHL: Wolves at Ice Hogs. This is a much better choice -- check out some of the Blackhawks minor leaguers.

↵↵

7 p.m., NHL Network: Flyers at Hurricanes. Check out former Blackhawk Kris Versteeg with his new team.

↵↵

7:30 p.m., CSN Chicago: Blackhawks vs. Blue Jackets at the United Center.

↵↵

8 p.m., ESPN: College basketball, No. 12 Connecticut at No. 16 Louisville. At last, ESPN covers real basketball tonight.

↵↵

8 p.m., TNT: NBA Rookie Challenge. First and second year players face each other. Watching Blake Griffin play might make this game worth watching.
