5:30 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, No. 10 Wisconsin at No. 11 Purdue.

6 p.m., ESPN: College basketball, No. 16 Louisville at No. 12 Connecticut.

↵↵

6 p.m., ESPN2: College basketball, No. 5 Duke at Virginia.

7 p.m., CSN Chicago: NHL, Blackhawks vs. Wild at the United Center. We're getting into "must-win" territory for the Blackhawks; they can't keep losing shootouts if they want to make the playoffs.

7:30 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, Michigan at Illinois. The Illini were once ranked; now Michigan is the hot team. One or both of these teams may miss the NCAA tournament if they don't win.

8 p.m., ESPN: NBA, Nuggets at Bucks. Carmelo Anthony will still be with the Nuggets tonight. We think.

8 p.m., ESPN2: College basketball, Oklahoma State at No. 2 Texas.

10 p.m., ESPN2: College basketball, No. 23 St. Mary's at San Diego. St. Mary's is the 2010s version of the late 1990s Gonzaga -- the out-of-nowhere underdog that everyone's going to be rooting for in the tournament.
