Dallas, TX (Sports Network) – Brad Richards scored the winner in the shootout as the Dallas Stars rallied to take a 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at American Airlines Center.
In the second round of the shootout, Richards buried a wrister past Marty Turco to give Dallas the advantage. After Patrick Sharp missed the net, Mike Ribeiro sealed the win when he lifted a forehand over Turco.
Stephane Robidas, Richards and Brenden Morrow all scored for the Stars, who had dropped six of seven coming into the contest. Kari Lehtonen stopped 23 shots in the win.
Patrick Kane and a goal and two assists while Sharp and Brent Seabrook each lit the lamp for the Blackhawks, who have dropped three of four.
