Canucks Vs. Blackhawks Score Update: Blackhawks Lose 6-2

The Vancouver power play killed Chicago in the second period, and their success with the man advantage was the big reason why they left the United Center with a decisive 6-2 win. The Canucks scored one power play goal in the first period, three in the second, and added one more for good measure in the final period.

For the game, Chicago racked up 34 penalty minutes, and what was a relatively even game by the rough measure of shots on goal became a laugher.

The Blackhawks will have to bounce back on the road, and their first opportunity comes on Tuesday in St. Louis against a Blues team that will be playing with a new head coach. Following that is a trip to Columbus on Thursday.
