2011 Blackhawks Schedule: Chicago Heads Home For Games Against Phoenix And The Islanders

The Blackhawks start the week at home after a long road trip.

The Chicago Blackhawks return home this week after a six-game road trip that saw the team win three games and maintain a hold on first place in the Central Division. They'll be back in action on Tuesday against the Coyotes before hitting the road once more at the end of the week, but they'll spend the majority of the next few weeks in Chicago.

As for this week:

Nov. 29: vs. Phoenix Coyotes (7:30 p.m. CT, CSN)
The Coyotes are fighting for position in a tight Pacific Division and head to Chicago fresh off a 3-0 shutout of Dallas. Phoenix ranks 12th in the league in goals against average, but their penalty kill has been outstanding.

Dec. 2: vs. New York Islanders (7:30 p.m. CT, CSN)
The Islanders are last in the NHL in goals scored and last in the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division. They've also struggled at the defensive end, and both their power play and penalty kill units have been poor this season.

Dec. 3: at St. Louis Blues (7:00 p.m. CT, WGN)
St. Louis is 7-1-2 over its last 10 games, which has helped the team vault back into contention within the division. During that run, they've outscored opponents 25-14 and recorded three shutouts. They won three in a row coming into the week and will visit Colorado on Friday before hosting Chicago on Saturday.
