Blackhawks Vs. Ducks Score Update: Anaheim Leads 4-2 After 2 Periods

The Chicago Blackhawks controlled the second period, at least in terms of shots on goal, but the Ducks were the only team to score in the frame. Bobby Ryan netted his seventh goal of the season and gave Anaheim a 4-2 lead with about 11 minutes to play in the period. Otherwise it was a quiet period compared to the opening 20 minutes, which saw the teams combine for five goals.

The Blackhawks out-shot the Ducks 17-5 in the second and had a pair of power play opportunities but could not break through to narrow the margin. For the afternoon, Chicago is 1-5 with the man advantage, while Anaheim is 1-3.

Chicago went down by two goals on two different occasions in the first period but answered with a score each time.
