The Chicago Blackhawks head into the third period of their rivalry game against the Vancouver Canucks up 2-1 thanks to second period goals by Andrew Brunette and Patrick Kane.
After a scoreless first period, it didn't take long for the Canucks' offense to find its footing in the second. Jannik Hansen found the back of the net for his fifth goal of the season just :38 seconds into the second period to give Vancouver a 1-0 advantage.
Brunette would tie it up at one five minutes later with a power play goal, his fourth score of the year. Marcus Kruger and Steve Montador were credited with assists.
Patrick Kane gave Chicago its first lead of the night halfway through the period. Kane's power play goal was his seventh of the season. Marian Hossa and Duncan Keith were credited with assists.
