Blackhawks Vs. Canucks Preview: Chicago Trying To Extend Winning Streak

Chicago's game at Vancouver Wednesday is the first of a six-game road trip.

The Chicago Blackhawks have had great success at home, where they're 7-1-2 this season, but now they're hitting the road for six games that span about two weeks, so they're going to need to get acclimated to life as the visiting team under some difficult circumstances. The trip begins in Vancouver on Wednesday night, and the Blackhawks are hoping to continue what has been a very successful stretch of hockey. They've won three consecutive games since being shutout in St. Louis on Nov. 8.

They're also trying to avenge that lone defeat at home, which came against Vancouver in an ugly 6-2 affair that saw the Canucks score five power play goals.

Injured Hawks defenseman Brent Seabrook is traveling with the team, though his status is uncertain.

GAME TIME: 9:00 p.m. CT

TV: CSN
