On Thursday night, the Chicago Blackhawks (8-4-3) take to the road to face off against the NHL's worst team, the Columbus Blue Jackets (2-11-1). While the Hawks are trying to stop their first losing streak of the season and improve upon what has become the league's worst power play efficiency, the Blue Jackets are still stewing in the aftermath of an embarrassing 9-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

When the two teams met earlier this season in Chicago, the Blackhawks won 5-2 despite going 0-5 on power play opportunities. That was before the issue became such a glaring problem, and now players like captain Jonathan Toews  are focused on making an improvement in that area:

"The problem is we're making the number out to be a big deal. Right now who cares about the stat? We know we've got to be better, so we've got to keep working on it."
