The Chicago Blackhawks never led this game until it was over, but that's not important after defeating the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 following a shoot-out.

The Chicago Blackhawks never led this game until it was over, but the only thing that's really important is the "W" that they can chalk up after tonight's match-up against the Anaheim Ducks.

After trailing 1-0 and then 2-1 in front of a bumping home crowd, the Blackhawks managed to keep things close after tying the game at 2-2 and then defeated the Ducks in a shoot-out following a scoreless overtime period. Patrick Kane was a major factor for the Blackhawks tonight, receiving assists on both of the team's regular time goals before being one of two Blackhawks to successfully score against Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller in the shoot-out.

The victory pushes the Blackhawks to 5-1-2 on the season, giving them a two-point lead over the Detroit Red Wings in the Central Division, while the Ducks move to 4-3-1 on the season, three points behind the first-place Dallas Stars in the Pacific Division.
