If The Blackhawks Lose, But It Wasn't On TV Or Radio, Did It Really Happen?

Soon, the NHL regular season will begin and the Blackhawks will be back on WGN radio, and WGN-TV and Comcast Sportsnet Chicago.

But in the preseason? It's hit or miss. The Hawks game against the Blues at home on Sunday will be on WGN (and also on the NHL Network) at 5 p.m. CDT, and Friday's game against the Penguins at the UC at 7:30 p.m. CDT will be on WGN radio.

Tonight? Nada. So, via Chicago Breaking Sports, here's a quick summary of the Hawks' 4-1 loss to the Blues in St. Louis:

Ben Smith scored for the Hawks while the Blues got goals from David Perron, T.J. Oshie, Matt D'Agostini and Alex Steen. Marty Turco suffered the loss in goal for the Hawks.↵

↵[Jack] Skille left the game midway through the second period and didn't return after suffering an apparent arm injury.↵

↵The Hawks fell to 1-4 during the exhibition season and take on the Penguins on Friday night at the United Center.

The Blackhawks took quite a few rookies to St. Louis to have a last look at them before season-opening roster cuts are due.
