Blackhawks Lose Another Preseason Game

Just as the Bears went winless in the preseason and are now undefeated in the regular season, Blackhawks fans shouldn't worry too much about last night's 4-1 loss to the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Neither of the goalies who played last night -- Hannu Toivonen and Alec Richards -- is likely to see any playing time outside of Rockford this season. The loss dropped the Hawks' preseason record to 1-3; they'll next play the Blues on Thursday in St. Louis. There won't be any live TV or radio coverage of that game in Chicago. Here's the recap of last night's game via Sports Network:

↵Kyle Beach recorded the lone goal for the defending Stanley Cup champions.↵

↵Alec Richards yielded a pair of goals on 20 shots to absorb the loss while Hannu Toivonen turned away 17 of the 19 shots he faced.
