Chicago Blackhawks Winger Viktor Stalberg Cleared To Play Against Nashville Predators

There's good news from the Chicago Blackhawks camp. Winger Viktor Stalberg, who has been sidelined since sustaining a concussion on Dec. 15 against the Colorado Avalanche, will be ready for tomorrow night's game against the Nashville Predators. The decision on whether he will actually play will be a game-time decision, according to Coach Joel Quenneville.

Stalberg sustained the concussion when he was hit hard into the boards by Avalance player Ryan O'Byrne on Dec. 15, as the Blackhawks lost to the Avs 4-3. Stalberg practiced with the team earlier today after being cleared to play.

Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa will not play in tomorrow night's game. Coach Q hopes to have Hossa, who has been working out with the team, back after Christmas. It is still unclear when Kane will return. He did not practice the the team this morning, though he was at the workout facility.
