'Blackhawks TV' To Make Season Debut Christmas Night

If you've ever wondered about what some of your favorite Chicago Blackhawks players do while they're off the ice, wonder no more.

↵↵"Blackhawks TV", which was a popular feature on Comcast SportsNet last season, will return for a second season, beginning on Christmas night, Saturday, Dec. 25 at 7 p.m.↵↵

Among the segments you'll see are features with Duncan Keith and his dog, the return of “Joey The Junior Reporter” to the Blackhawks locker room, a segment on Patrick Kane’s dancing abilities, and a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Blackhawks’ 2010 Stanley Cup Championship ring.

The series won a Chicago Emmy Award last year in the too-big-mouthful 13-c: Outstanding Achievement for Sports Programs - Sports Program Series Covering Sports of Based on a Sports Theme. (Couldn't they have squeezed the word "Sports" in there one more time?)

If you can't put yourself in front of the TV to watch this on Christmas night, it will be available online at chicagoblackhawks.com immediately after its airing on CSN Chicago. The team says this show led the NHL last year with "12 million video starts".
