Your Sports TV Schedule, 12/15: Blackhawks/Avalanche, Bulls/Raptors

Did you enjoy yesterday's sort of day off from sports TV? Get geared up, because starting this weekend, the college football bowl season begins. In the meantime, the Bulls and Blackhawks are back in action tonight.

6 p.m., CSN Chicago: NBA, Bulls at Raptors. Will Derrick Rose play tonight? The Bulls are on a brief one-game trip before returning home Saturday to play the Clippers.

6 p.m., ESPN: NBA, Celtics at Knicks. In recent years this might have been a blowout for Boston, but the Knicks are off to their best start in years.

6:30 p.m., Comcast 100: AHL, Wolves at IceHogs. Check out some of the Blackhawks minor leaguers as the Wolves visit Rockford.

7 p.m., MLB Network: Game Seven of the 1960 World Series. This complete game, found in singer Bing Crosby's collection, features one of the greatest games ever played. Bob Costas hosts and players who participated, Dick Groat, Bobby Richardson and the game's hero, Bill Mazeroski, will discuss the game. It hasn't been seen on television since the day it was played, October 13, 1960.

7:30 p.m., CSN Chicago Plus: NHL, Blackhawks vs. Avalanche at the United Center. Maybe the Hawks can do at home what they couldn't do on the road. Check your cable listings for the CSN Chicago Plus channel on your system.

7:30 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, Akron at No. 20 Minnesota. Some of the gaudy records of the Big Ten teams before their conference schedule will vanish when the Big Ten schedule begins -- but Minnesota's likely to be one of the teams vying for the conference title.

8:30 p.m., ESPN: NBA, Trail Blazers at Mavericks.
