Patrick Sharp Out For Saturday's Game; Brandon Pirri Recalled

Via Chicago Breaking Sports:

Veteran center Patrick Sharp will reportedly miss tonight’s game against the Red Wings with an unknown injury, according to chicagonow.com.

The Blackhawks will recall center Brandon Pirri from Rockford and he’s expected to be in the lineup against the Red Wings.

The chicagonow.com link mentioned above cites this story on the RPI website, where Pirri played college hockey, as the source:

Former Rensselaer standout Brandon Pirri is expected to make his National Hockey League debut on Saturday night when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Detroit Red Wings. The game will be aired on the NHL Network (7:30pm). Pirri spent last year at RPI, tallying 11 goals and 32 assists for 43 points before signing a three-year deal with the Blackhawks in August. He was first on the Engineers in assists and second in points as a freshman.

In addition to the NHL Network, the game will air on CSN Chicago and WGN radio.
