Marty Turco Gives Up Four Goals In First Period; Blackhawks Fall To 4-4 At Home

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – Sam Gagner scored twice while rookies Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle each had a goal and an assist to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 7-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center.

Ales Hemsky had a goal and an assist while Andrew Cogliano and Ryan Jones each had a goal for the Oilers, who snapped a six-game slide. Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 37 shots in the win.

Patrick Sharp had a goal and two assists for the Blackhawks, who have dropped three of their last four. Marty Turco started in net, but was pulled after giving up four goals on 12 shots in the first period. Corey Crawford allowed two goals on nine shots in relief.
