The Blackhawks returned to the United Center on Friday night to face the Penguins in another game that was seen only by the 19,913 in attendance.
↵↵Just like the old Dollar Bill Wirtz days!
↵↵Ahem.
↵↵Anyway, the Blackhawks won 5-2; here are some details via Chicago Breaking Sports:
↵↵The Hawks got two goals from Marian Hossa and scores from Fernando Pisani, Patrick Sharp and Patrick Kane to defeat the Penguins 5-2. Corey Crawford was strong in goal for the Hawks, alllowing only Alex Goligowski and Craig Adams goals in the third period.↵↵↵↵The Hawks suffered a potentially big blow as during the second, defenseman Brian Campbell left the ice limping and went into the Hawks' dressing room and didn't return.
The Penguins were playing without their star Sidney Crosby, who stayed behind in Pittsburgh due to a minor injury. The Hawks will wrap up their exhibition season at the UC on Sunday night against the Blues in a game that will be televised on WGN-TV at 5 p.m. CDT.
