Pro Bowl rosters 2013: Bears have four defensive starters in Sunday's game

Chicago's season ended abruptly, but the Bears will at least have four players starting in the Pro Bowl.

The Chicago Bears' season ended on a sour note, with the team missing the playoffs and subsequently firing coach Lovie Smith. But the Pro Bowl could be a source of healing for those Bears fans still struggling with the unceremonious end to the season.

A total of five Bears players were named to the Pro Bowl roster, but only four will suit up for the game. Brandon Marshall will not play due to injury. Chicago will have four defensive starters in the Pro Bowl, though. Defensive end Julius Pepper, defensive tackle Henry Melton, and cornerbacks Tim Jennings and Charles Tillman will be be in the starting lineup for the NFC.
