Bears Vs. Rams: Chicago Well Aware Of Danny Amendola's Talent

Before last weekend, many NFL fans may not have heard of St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola. Amendola's performance in the Rams' 31-28 win over the Washington Redskins changed that. The fourth-year receiver out of Texas Tech caught 15 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown. Chicago Bears safety Charles Tillman is well aware of Amendola's big game:

"He had a good day. Who's to say he can't do it again? He probably can. He's playing good football right now. His quarterback is feeding him the rock and he's capitalizing on his opportunities, so kudos to him."

Amendola leads the NFL with 20 receptions through two games. He may not be a big play threat, but he's reliable on underneath routes. The Bears are certainly aware of Amendola, but they don't plan on changing their defensive schemes. He'll be covered by Tillman on the left, Tim Jennings on the right and nickel back D.J. Moore in the slot.

The Bears know that Amendola will move around. To prepare, they've been using Dane Sanzenbacher as an Amendola clone in practice.
