Greg Jennings is officially out for the Green Bay Packers. The Chicago Bears face the Packers in Week 2's Thursday Night Football game, and Jennings absence will give the Chicago secondary one less thing to worry about.
Jennings was hurt late in Green Bay's Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, sustaining a groin injury. He had five catches for 34 yards prior to being injured. He was listed as doubtful heading in to the game, but whether or not he would play was a last-minute decision.
Donald Driver will likely move into Jennings' place for Green Bay. The veteran receiver saw very little action in the season-opener, participating in only three plays.
