Kellen Winslow Jr. Traded To Seattle Seahawks

A day ago, we wondered if disgruntled Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. would be a nice fit on the Chicago Bears' offense. That discussion can end now that the Seattle Seahawks have sent a conditional future draft pick to Tampa in exchange for Winslow. The Miami product will team with Zach Miller to give Seattle what might be the best 1-2 punch at tight end in the AFC this side of New England.

Barring something unforeseen, the Bears will head into training camp with Kellen Davis Jr., Matt Spaeth and rookie Evan Rodriguez at tight end. Hopes will be high for Rodriguez to emerge as a threat, though Davis figures to be the Week 1 starter if he stays healthy. Davis finished last season with 18 catches for 205 yards and five touchdowns.
