The Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks have been eliminated from the 2012 playoffs; the first installment of the Cubs-White Sox series has passed, as well. That can only mean one thing: it's time to get irrationally excited about the start of football season a few months too early!
On Tuesday, the Bears will begin voluntary practices at the team's facility in Lake Forest.

The Bears added a slew of veterans this offseason, most notably wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who was acquired via trade from the Miami Dolphins. Backups Jason Campbell (quarterback) and Michael Bush (running back) should provide depth that sorely cost Chicago last season.
