2013 NFL Mock Draft: Calls For Bears To Upgrade Offensive Line Continue

With the 2012 NFL Draft officially behind us, it's time to look ahead. It's time to look way ahead, to the 2013 NFL Draft, where there's a good chance that once again the Chicago Bears will be asked by fans and critics alike if they're finally going to address their offensive line. The Bears stood pat in the 2012 Draft as far as protection for Jay Cutler goes, instead choosing to pick three cornerbacks, a defensive end, a wide receiver and a tight end.

New general manager Phil Emery may have grand plans for an offensive line that is currently makeshift, but taking a franchise tackle will likely be high on their to-do list come next offseason. With that in mind, SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber, has the Bears taking Texas A&M Aggies tackle Jake Matthews in his 2013 mock draft. Matthews has been a standout for the Aggies since he was a true freshman, and he'd likely fit exactly what Chicago may need.
