2012 NFL Draft: Ebert And Dunsmore Selected In 7th Round

Two of the top offensive threats from the Northwestern Wildcats will get a chance to play at the next level, as Drake Dunsmore and Jeremy Ebert were selected just two picks apart in the 7th round of the NFL draft. Dunsmore was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 233rd pick, while Ebert was selected by the New England Patriots with the 235th pick.

Dunsmore was a primary offensive option at Northwestern during his final three season, recording over 40 catches in each season. He had his most complete season as a senior, making 45 catches for 522 yards and a career-high six TD's.

After a solid junior season, Ebert exploded during his senior year. Ebert led the team in every key statistical receiving catergory, as he recorded 75 catches for 1,060 yards and 11 TD's. Ebert doesn't possess elite speed or size, but has great hands.
