2012 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears Select Boise State LB Shea McClellin 19th Overall

With the 19th pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Chicago Bears selected Boise State Broncos defensive end/outside linebacker Shea McClellin. McClellin is the eighth-rated defensive end in the draft, according to Mocking The Draft's rankings. He is a high-motor pass-rusher that improved each season as a three-year starter for Boise St.

According to Mocking The Draft’s scouting report on McClellin, he is a relentless pass rusher, plays with a high motor and is an ideal fit to attack off the edge in a 3-4 scheme. The Bears' next pick is the 50th overall pick in the second round, which they could potentially use on a pass rusher, offensive lineman or wide receiver.
