Fans are not the only group excited about the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft. Love Smith, the head coach of the Chicago Bears, expressed some of his own emotions on Tuesday, sounding a bit a member of the fanbase rather than the organization:
Lovie Smith on draft: "It's almost like the day before the big game and you're just waiting for that time to come with a lot of excitement."

The Bears head coach has witnessed some impressive turnover this offseason with the team replacing GM Jerry Angelo with GM Phil Emery as well as a number of player personnel additions, including a trade for WR Brandon Marshall. Through it all, Smith appears to be pleased with the team's direction:
Lovie Smith: "I can't see anything else we could have done [more than we have] to really improve our ball club before the draft."
