As the release of the 2012 NFL schedules nears (6:00 p.m. CT, with coverage by the NFL Network and ESPN), some details are beginning to leak. According to this report from Pro Football Weekly, the Chicago Bears are set to open the NFL Network's Thursday night schedule in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.

Additionally, it is rumored that the Bears will host the Indianapolis Colts (and Andrew Luck?) in Week 1.
