2012 NFL Free Agency: Saints Interest In Moss May Pay Dividends For Bears

Could the Bears steal WR Marques Colston or WR Robert Meachem away from the New Orleans Saints? The latest musing from John "Moon" Mullin suggest they might be able to do just that. According to Mullin, the Saints recently worked out veteran WR Randy Moss -- and the workout went rather well.

If the Saints pursue Moss, Moon believes it will signify they will move on without the services of either Colston or Meachem. Over the last few years, Meachem has blossomed into one of the league's better deep threats, while Colston quickly became one of the league's best all-around wideouts despite being drafted 252nd overall in 2006.

The Bears, meanwhile, had only one player finish the season over 600 yards receiving -- WR Johnny Knox (727 yds, 2 TD), who finished the season on the IR.
