2012 NFL Mock Draft: Todd McShay Projects TE Dwayne Allen To Bears In Second Round

The 2012 NFL Draft is almost here, and Chicago Bears GM Phil Emery will be armed with five selections in the top 150 picks, the No. 19 overall pick and the No. 50 overall selection. Todd McShay of ESPN recently released his latest mock draft (Insider only), and he projected all picks in the first two rounds. In the first round, McShay sees the Bears selecting Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin with the No. 19 overall pick to give Jay Cutler a legitimate left tackle.

In the second round, the Bears are projected to select Clemson Tigers tight end Dwayne Allen with the No. 50 pick. According to SB Nation's NFL draft blog, Mocking The Draft, Allen is the No. 1 overall tight end prospect in the 2012 NFL Draft, so it could end up being a value pick for the Bears. In case you were wondering, South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery came off the board at No. 35 to the Minnesota Vikings, and LSU WR Rueben Randle ended up with the Rams via the No. 39 pick.
