2012 NFL Free Agency: Former Bears Special Teamer, Corey Graham, Signs With Baltimore

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, special teams Pro Bowler and former second round draft pick CB Corey Graham has signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Graham played five seasons with the Bears and served mostly in the nickel package and on special teams, collecting 3 interceptions and a trip to Hawaii in 2011.

According to Graham, the New Hampshire graduate may have been interested in returning to the Bears, but the opportunity never materialized:

"I believe it's a better situation for me and a better opportunity with a fresh start," Graham told the Tribune. "I gave the Bears every opportunity but they moved on. All around, Baltimore is just a better deal for me and my family."

The Bears, who have long had one of the league's better special teams units, will look to augment the loss through free agency and the draft, which begins Thursday, April 26.
