Bears Free Agency 2012: Israel Idonije Signs For Over One Million Guaranteed

The Bears re-signed defensive linemen Israel Idonije this past month, and now the details of the contract have leaked, thanks to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times. According to Jensen, the Bears inked Idonije to a one-year deal worth $1.5 million guaranteed that can escalate to as much as $2.5 million based on performance.

Idonije had 52 tackles, five sacks and a forced fumble for the Bears last year, and his ability to play both outside and inside and his propensity towards staying healthy (he's missed only one game over the last five seasons) are invaluable.
