Brian Urlacher Injury: Bears Linebacker Not Fully Healed From MCL And PCL Tears

Chicago Bears middle linebacker, Brian Urlacher, appeared on the Waddle & Silvy show on Tuesday and reported that his recent knee injury was not doing as well as hoped. According Urlacher, the late-season injury has not completely healed. However, the soon-to-be 34-year-old predicts he should be back in time for the offseason:

"The MCL and the PCL were damaged. I've done everything I've been asked to do by our trainers and the rehab people," Urlacher said.

"I'll be fine. We have another month now before we even start our offseason [program]. Once we start running and stuff, I should be doing everything with the team."

Urlacher has started all 16 games in 10 of his 12 NFL seasons and has been a generally durable player, earning 8 Pro Bowl appearances since 2000.
