2012 NFL Combine: Schedule And Preview

The 2012 NFL Combine gets underway Wednesday in Indianapolis, but like many first days, today is mainly about registration and introductions. The first batch of prospects to hit Lucas Oil Stadium will be kickers and other specialists, tight ends and offensive linemen, and they'll meet and greet NFL personell as well as undergo medical evaluations before workouts begin for them in earnest on Thursday.

Though kickers, tight ends and offensive linemen aren't usually the glamour prospects, those position groups (excluding kickers, obviously) may make up almost a quarter of this year's first round picks, with the Chicago Bears likely in the hunt for some reinforcements on their line.

Here is Wednesday's full schedule:

Group 1 (P/K, ST, OL), Group 2 (OL), Group 3 (TE)

Travel to Indianapolis, registration, hospital pre-exam and X-rays, orientation, interviews

Here's the full 2012 NFL Combine schedule by day.

You can find the full list of players invited to the 2012 NFL Combine via the NFL Combine's official website.
