2012 NFL Mock Draft: Mel Kiper Projects Bears To Select Mike Adams With No. 19 Pick

ESPN's Mel Kiper recently rolled out the second edition of his 2012 NFL Mock Draft, projecting selections for each of the 32 first-round picks. The Chicago Bears select No. 19 in the draft, and Kiper projects them to take Ohio State offensive tackle Mike Adams with the pick.

Mike Tice knows as well as anybody that Jay Cutler can be successful in the passing game first if he's not getting hit on every play. Adams is a guy who I've come around on, because he simply knows how to protect the pocket. He can slide his feet and doesn't get beat inside, but he has the length and technique to protect the edge.

Kiper notes that the Bears are sure to be seeking out help at wide receiver as well, but he adds that the team shouldn't neglect the offensive line simply because it's not totally awful.
