The Chicago Bears are now on the outside of the playoff picture after having lost five of their last six games to fall to 8-6. Rather than focusing on Sunday's loss to the Packers, Bears coach Lovie Smith is looking at next week and knows the Bears can't afford to lose any more games.
"This week we are to that must game. The tournament has begun for us," Smith said on Monday. Smith went on to say that he hasn't gone over every possible scenario and that Chicago is just focused on finishing 10-6, which means wins in their final two games over the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions.
Despite needing two wins, Smith said he's not looking ahead to the Lions and the end of the season, but is going to take it week by week. "We're just looking to get to nine," Smith said.
The Bears travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals at 3:25 p.m. CT.
