Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher will go down as one of the all-time greats, especially when it comes to players from that franchise. He's made his career against rival teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers, and this week might be the last time he prepares against the latter.
Unfortunately, Urlacher will miss the game due to injury. If he calls it a career, then he won't get another chance to clash with Chicago's biggest rivals again, unless they meet in the playoffs. But according to Jim Miller of CSN Chicago, Urlacher is remaining positive.
Urlacher said his hamstring is getting better every day, but that his total concentration is on helping the team prepare to get beat Green Bay on Sunday. Urlacher is spending time in practice trying to coach his teammates on the field and help them in any way he can.
If the Packers win the game, they'll win the division, and the Bears will have to snare a wild card berth to make it into the postseason.
