NFL power rankings, Week 13: Bears move up to No. 7

The Chicago Bears moved up to No. 7 in the Week 13 NFL power rankings from SB Nation.

The Chicago Bears rebounded from a dominating loss at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers to best the Minnesota Vikings from start to finish on Sunday. They put forth a complete effort and came away with a multiple-touchdown victory, and are now 8-3 on the season. Unfortunately, the losses to this point are to San Francisco, the Houston Texans and the Green Bay Packers, so the Bears still have a lot to improve upon.

Either way, Joel Thorman of SB Nation posted his Week 13 NFL power rankings on Tuesday, and he has the Bears at No. 7, up one spot from last week.

7. Chicago Bears (LW: 8, 8-3): Makes a difference when you have Jay Cutler and not Jason Campbell, huh? The Bears should be favored in every remaining game down the stretch.

Chicago will need to make that jump to beat the elite teams that they've been losing to thus far, but their remaining schedule isn't going to present them with many opportunities to do that. Another game against the Packers is the marquee matchup left at this point.

The Bears are just above the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and the aforementioned Packers. They find themselves just below the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.
