With his star quarterback officially listed as doubtful for a Monday Night Football showdown with San Francisco, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is no longer being billed as an elite fantasy option heading into Week 11.
Though he currently ranks second in the NFL in receptions (67) and third in receiving yards (904), Marshall was tabbed as a Week 11 fantasy bust by Brad Evans of Yahoo! Sports' Roto Arcade. Evans believes that Marshall's lack of chemistry with Chicago's projected starter Jason Campbell could very well disrupt his productivity, and is projecting a mere five receptions for 69 yards for the Pro Bowl receiver in Monday's game.
San Francisco's aggressive defense will make things hard enough for the Bears to move the ball anyway, and not having Cutler on the field will definitely alter Lovie Smith's team's plan of attack. Marshall is still a safe bet to avoid a woeful outing like his Week 2 performance against Green Bay (two receptions for 5 yards), but he certainly does not have a favorable match up in a game where his favorite quarterback won't be throwing him the ball.
