Rookie wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will not return this Sunday for the Chicago Bears as they lead the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-3. Jeffery injured his hand after catching two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown and will sit out the rest of the game as a precautionary measure.

Jeffery has paired with Brandon Marshall very well this season. He has 14 catches for 184 yards and and two touchdowns after today's game. His best week came in Week 1 where he caught three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown against the Colts.
Jeffery also had a very good game in Chicago's Week 3 win over St. Louis. In that game, he caught a career-high five passes for 45 yards. It seems as if he sat out the rest of today's game as a precaution since Chicago led 20-3 after his touchdown.
