Chicago Bears' quarterback Jay Cutler endured a vicious hit from Ndamokong Suh in Week 7, but he has engaged in full participation in practice on Thursday and Friday and the team officially listed Cutler as probable for Week 8 versus the Carolina Panthers. Cutler only missed one play after getting slammed to the ground by Suh, and while many people worried about the health of his shoulder and his head, he came away with nothing more than bruised ribs, according to the team.

The Bears (5-1) have a favorable matchup on Sunday against the reeling Panthers (1-5), and some had speculated that Chicago would rest their quarterback as a precaution and let the defense do the work, but now it appears Cutler is primed to play in Week 8.

Through seven games in 2012, the 29-year-old signal caller has completed 56.7 percent of his passes while throwing for 1,359 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions. Over the last three games he has started to heat up, too. Over that span, Cutler has thrown five touchdowns and just one interception.
