Lions vs. Bears score: Chicago leads Detroit 13-0 after third quarter

Quarterback Jay Cutler returned for the Bears' first possession of the second half to lead Chicago to a 21-yard field goal, extending its lead to 13-0 in the opening minutes of the third quarter.

Cutler missed the Bears' final offensive possession in the second quarter after being brought down violently by Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. He was taken to the locker room before the end of the half, and backup Jason Campbell played the final possession of the second quarter.

The Bears initially went three-and-out on their first offensive possession of the second half, but the Lions' Stefan Logan muffed the ensuing punt and Chicago recovered to continue its drive.

The Lions had an opportunity to score in the red zone at the Bears' 1-yard line, but running back Joique Bell fumbled on second down and Chicago linebacker Brian Urlacher recovered to end the threat.

The Lions offense has been held to 193 yards, and has turned the ball over three times through three quarters.

Bears running back Matt Forte has 18 carries for 87 yards.
