Another candidate has emerged for the Bears general manager opening. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Bears will interview Ryan Grigson who is the Eagles director of player personnel. Grigson is scheduled to also interview with the Rams and has already interviewed with the Indianapolis Colts for their respective GM vacancies.
In other Bears general manager search news, it appears the Bears can remove Green Bay's Reggie McKenzie from their list. Reports Thursday indicated McKenzie will become the next general manager of the Oakland Raiders.
As of Friday the Bears list appears to include Grigson, Eric DeCosta of the Ravens, George Paton of the Vikings, and Les Snead of the Atlanta Falcons.
It is still very early in their search and more candidates names will be announced as teams are eliminated from the postseason.
