2012 NFL Mock Draft: Michael Floyd Goes To Bears In Latest CBS Sports Mock

The Chicago Bears will be looking for help on offense and the 2012 NFL draft. It's no secret to anyone the Jay Cutler needs help on the outside, but he also needs help on the offensive line to keep him upright, allow him to progress through his reads and make accurate throws. Rob Rang of CBS Sports has weighed in on what direction he thinks the Chicago Bears will move with the number 19 overall pick in the NFL draft, and it has everything to do with adding talent on the outside:

Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame: With Mike Tice and not Mike Martz heading the Chicago Bears' offense, expect a focus on adding receivers with size and the strength to contribute as downfield blockers. The 6-3, 224-pound Floyd is an ideal match and would be a significant upgrade over veteran Roy Williams at split end.

Could Floyd be the red zone target Cutler has been searching for since he arrived in Chicago? There seems to be a consensus developing that the Bears should take the gamble.
