NFL Mock Draft 2012: Chicago Bears Select Baylor WR Kendall Wright In Latest AOL Sporting News Mock

The 2012 NFL Draft class is just about set in stone now that the deadline for petitions has passed and the NFL has granted special exemptions to a record 65 underclassmen. From here you can expect to see countless permutations laid out by various experts in mock drafts, but that's half the fun during draft season. The Chicago Bears are clearly in need of more explosive options for Jay Cutler, and accordingly have been linked to speedy, big-play wide receivers in numerous mock drafts. The Bears are currently operating without a general manager, but their needs are fairly clear, it's all about who is available at No. 19.

Russ Lande of AOL Sporting News recently weighed with his mock draft and sees the Bears taking former Baylor Bears wide receiver Kendall Wright after Michael Floyd came off the board to No. 7 overall. Here is what Lande had to say:

19. Chicago Bears: Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor. With Mike Tice taking over the offense, the Bears will likely have more of a run-based attack. But they will need an explosive deep threat to keep defenses from stacking the line, and Wright is that type of receiver.
