According to Brad Biggs of the Tribune, the Chicago Bears star linebacker, Brian Urlacher, will undergo an MRI on his injured knee Monday at noon.
The long-time Bears signal caller on defense hurt his knee in Sunday's victory against the Minnesota Vikings. Initially, the team reported the injury was a relatively minor sprained MCL, but the MRI suggests Urlacher may be ailing more than previously suspected.
In the 2011 NFL Season, Urlacher tied Lance Briggs for the team lead with 86 tackles. He also managed three interceptions and recovered two fumbles. Urlacher turns 34 in May after haveing spent all of his 12 NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears, starting 168 games since joining the league in 2000.
