Bears General Manager Search: Chicago Interviews Jimmy Raye On Tuesday

The Chicago Bears continue to evaluate pospects for their vacant general manager position and on Tuesday the team interviewed San Diego Chargers director of player personnel Jimmy Raye.

Raye oversees San Diego’s pro and college scouting departments and assists on player personnel matters. He joined the Chargers in 1996, spending four seasons as a scout from 1996-99 and eight as director of college scouting from 2000-07.

The Bears also plan to interview Kansas City director of college scouting Phil Emery and New York Giants director of college scouting Mike Ross. Patriots director of pro personnel was in Chicago to interview for the job on Monday.
