It's no secret the Chicago Bears need to get help for Jay Cutler in the 2012 NFL Draft. When Johnny Knox and Earl Bennett are lining up as the number one option on the outside, it is hard to expect Cutler to rise to the level of other elite quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Several wide receiver prospects have been linked to Chicago in recent mocks, including Notre Dame Fighting Irish WR Michael Floyd and South Carolina Gamecocks WR Alshon Jeffery, but now a new name is emerging in draft circles. SB Nation has the Bears snapping him up at No. 19. In his latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft, SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber has the Bears finally getting some help for their quarterback:
There's already talk of Wright as the top receiver in the draft, above Blackmon in some quarters. Maybe. His speed will definitely impress teams in Indianapolis. He also has the kind of hands that will make Jay Cutler very happy.
If selected by the Bears, Wright could make a legitimate case for entering the 2012 season as the number one receiver in Mike Tice's offense.
